Amante Bridal – a boho bridal boutique

Amante Bridal is fast becoming a fabulous fixture on the bridal fashion scene.

With an array of designs you will not find elsewhere in Victoria, Amante Bridal pride themselves on creating an experience that will leave a bride feeling comfortable, well looked after and flawlessly fashionable. Focusing on bohemian-luxe bridal looks, this boutique makes a brides life easy and you can book your appointment online or via their social media channels as well as stalk their designers online.

We sat down with founder of Amante Bridal, Hayley, to learn all about what sets her boutique apart.

Describe to us who the Amante Bride is?

When thinking of the Amante Bride, we see a woman who is strong and beautiful. She’s an incurable romantic who dreams of Moroccan Bazaars and road trips through Spain.
She’s a free spirit, a creative. She pushes the limits and knows no boundaries. She lives for love and love lives for her! She’s an Amante Bride.

You have a passion for fashion, so how did Amante Bridal come about?

After owning Dear Blackbird Boutique for four years, I absolutely fell in love with our customers and their stories! As they started to get engaged and married, I wanted to be a part of their journey and so Amante Bridal was born, providing the same amazing customer service and attention to detail our bohemian customers and brides have come to know and love!

Where is your boutique located?

We are located in Warragul, a cute little town in country Victoria, only a bit over an hour from Melbourne! It’s a hidden gem, so we’ve created an interactive map of the area on our website so that our future brides can explore our favourite treasures on their way to their appointment!

How can a bride-to-be book an appointment and must an appointment always be booked in advance?

We love to spoil our brides with a one-on-one appointment so they can really enjoy the Amante experience they deserve. It’s because of this, that appointments are necessary. They can be made via phone, email and our social media pages.

What labels do you currently stock and what is your current favourite?

We currently stock Emmy Mae, Laudae, & For Love, Rembo Styling and Karen Willis Holmes with LA cool kids Daughters Of Simone arriving in a few short weeks!
They are all AMAZING! But our current fav is Canadian designer Laudae, we are the only stockist in Australia who stock these stunning gowns and anyone who knows us, knows we can’t go past a bit of velvet which Laudae have absolutely nailed!

What can a bride-to-be expect when she comes in for an appointment?

Prior to your appointment, we send out a little get to know you form, it allows us to be prepped and primed to make sure we can fully maximise your time with us and assist you in finding ‘The One’
Once in our little oasis, we have a good chat about you and your style before we hand select gowns that we think fit your brief! We offer a very relaxed environment with stacks of natural light, bohemian details and plenty of belly laughs, with absolutely no pressure or expectations attached.

What are you expecting from bridal fashion trends in the future?

Texture! Something we are very big on here at Amante Bridal! And a splash of colour is sure to come through!

How far in advance does a bride-to-be need to look for her gown?

We think it’s important to be able to enjoy the experience to the fullest with plenty of time to ogle your gown. 9-10 months out is a comfortable time to find your dress, get it made and allows for alterations and accessorising.

Do you only stock bridal gowns in your boutique?

We stock the whole shebang! Accessories, intimates, footwear and bridesmaid gowns for your tribe. We don’t know how to half arse things.
