The Mornington Peninsula is certainly not lacking when it comes to sweet spots to tie the knot. To welcome the beginning of Spring and the start of the wedding season, Toast Magazine, and a group of talented local creatives, recently came together to create a stunning styled shoot at The Baths in Sorrento.

Seeking to create a fresh and stylish take on a spring wedding table, inspiration was drawn from the seaside where this newly renovated, premium wedding venue and restaurant is situated.

Combining lush green and white florals with textural, sapphire linen, the team from Toast pulled together an elegant luncheon setting, perfect for a seaside wedding. This stunning scene was beautifully documented by White Shutter Photography and Zephyr Productions and you can see more of the talented Tribe in our credits below.

It’s time to start to think about your wedding day – at least so you can fend off the “so when’s the big day?” question from every well-meaning person you encounter! It’s often around this time that you will start to work out a budget: venue, photographer, caterer, florist, dress… oh, and a celebrant! Surely they are only a few hundred dollars, right? They just turn up on the day for an hour or so and sign some paperwork?

Well, some do, yes. But these days, there are a whole bevy of talented and inspired guys and gals who are registered celebrants, many of whom offer a premium experience for their couples and work hard to create amazing, memorable ceremonies. So, what does this involve? How can one ceremony be so different to another, and what makes a celebrant worth paying $1000+ for?

We’re lucky enough to work with the cream of the crop when it comes to wedding talent, and popular celebrant, Chloe Jetson, is no exception.

Keep on reading for Chloe’s tips for planning the perfect ceremony, and how to know when you have found the celebrant that is right for you.

When it comes to your wedding day, while the ‘unplugged’ trend of requesting guests to refrain from taking photos, is growing in popularity, there’s no doubt couples choosing to harness the power of social media, is beating strong.

Although social media might be acceptable at a wedding celebration, there is a certain etiquette that a couple and their guests can follow ensuring the entire day isn’t spent behind a screen.
