NOTEL – Melbourne’s hottest new venue

Smack bang in the heart of Melbourne, the newest and most anticipated rooftop accommodation and event space NOTEL is now officially open for business.

NOTEL is like nothing else in the world with six five-star fully renovated and restored 1970’s airstreams on top of a car park in the middle of Melbourne’s CBD, combining to create a brand new breathtaking oasis.

The idea came from the brain (well, it actually came after a few beers with mates while they were on the roof) of James Fry who has owned the three level car park with his Dad for a decade.

GRAVITY – Georgia Young Couture

Designed and hand-made in Melbourne, Tribe fashion favourite, Georgia Young’s S/S16 collection GRAVITY is defined by its vibrant simplicity and natural elegance.

Floating without effort is the inspiration behind this beautifully curated collection, based on the concept that the things we don’t notice, often have the greatest effect.

For the contemporary bride, the latest work from the talented Melbourne couture queen draws your eye effortlessly toward feminine beauty.

The art of pulling off a surprise wedding

Boy oh boy are surprise weddings fun! Fun, because there’s nothing quite like a room full of shrieking people who are none the wiser that you are about to get married.

Surprise weddings are the perfect option for couples that are looking for something completely nontraditional, want to rein in the budget of planning a full blown wedding or simply want to be married sooner rather than later. But how do you pull of a wedding that will take everyone by surprise?

Elopement shoot – Maria Luise Bauer

Simple can be oh so sexy, so when Tribe photographer Maria Luise Bauer sent this elopement inspired shoot our way, we sighed with happiness.

Elopements are all about bucking the trend and steering clear of all those traditions that can stifle a couple. Maria imagined her ideal elopement and set about capturing a couple in an urban setting – with the bride in a rocking Georgia Young Couture gown and a dapper groom in a suit. The result – a shoot that is so hipster-cool it hurts.READ MORE

A Tropical Fiesta!

Recently a Tribe of talent joined forces to bring to life a Tropical Fiesta that was truly jaw dropping!

It was a birthday bash like no other, when a touch of island paradise came to the gorgeous coastal town of Wye River. Think surfboards, caravans, summer lounges, sand, surf movies, bamboo, Hawaiian shirts, leis and of course pretty pink flamingos. Cocktails flowed, a fantastic feast was served by incredible Tribe caterers Truffleduck, and a mini minor birthday cake added artistic brilliance. The guests barely left the dance floor as they celebrated into the night.

When an incredible Tribe of people come together, magic is created, and we dare you not to feel some early summer vibes after taking a peek at the stunning imagery by Tribe favourite, Ali Bailey. (Find the full team of talent below)
