Feeling a little camera shy when it comes to your big day? Don’t worry, it’s a normal feeling for many, after all, few of us are naturals when it comes to having their photo taken.

That’s why connecting with a photographer that understands these nerves and fears, yet is able to turn what could be an awkward experience into pure magic, is imperative.

Eliza, of Lou Lou Memphis, is all of this and so much more. We sat down with her so we could get a handle on her photography style and why keeping things easy, natural and fun always works best.

Real Wedding – Lauren & Ross, Fitzroy VIC

Choosing to embrace some of the wettest weather on record, Lauren and Ross were not about to let a little rain dampen their spirits.

Having to use their ‘plan B’ for their ceremony, a beautiful conservatory in inner city Melbourne that also acted as their reception venue, set the scene for the fun fiesta that unfolded.

The whole time, this perfect pair never let the wet weather interfere with the magic feeling of just becoming husband and wife.

Their positivity and good vibes are reflected in their fabulous imagery by Dee of Bonavita Photography.

Real Wedding – Dana & Hugh, Red Hill VIC

Being married on the Mornington Peninsula was a no brainer for Dana and Hugh. Having spent some sentimental time in the region throughout the early days of their relationship, it meant the world to celebrate their special day back where it all began.

With simple styling in the ever-elegant combination of white and green, their day was classic and timeless.

Taking some time away from their reception celebrations to enjoy a quiet moment and soak up the day, Dana and Hugh had Alex Motta on hand to capture it all.

Captured by Isaac Brown and Gerard Wood Photography, this super fun wedstival will give you all the feels.

Real Wedding – Rachel & Jack, Coldstream VIC

With a late change of venue just weeks out from their big day, Rachel and Jack made magic happen under the trickiest of circumstances.

Though, looking at the result you really wouldn’t know it.

This elegant affair had all the makings of a perfect celebration and true to form, Katie Harmsworth has documented it to perfection.

Real Wedding – Lorin & Troy, Red Hill VIC

Troy and Lorin are all about good wine, good food and beautiful countryside, so a winery wedding on the Mornington Peninsula was a natural fit.

In front of bloom-filled wine barrels they exchanged their vows and invited their grandmothers to act as their witnesses in what was a truly touching moment.

This loved-up duo picked a talented Tribe to support their day and what resulted was a relaxed and romantic celebration that completely fulfilled their wedding day dreams.

There to capture all the action was Fern and Stone Photography.
