Real wedding – Aisha & Virginia, Lorne VIC

Feeling slightly overwhelmed by their looming list of ‘wed-min’, Aisha and Virginia managed to take a moment to reflect on what they really wanted from their wedding day.  Once defined, they set about planning a coastal celebration that would leave them smiling from ear to ear.

Every little aspect of their relaxed celebration was dedicated to reflecting the loved-up couple – from Indian rings passed down through Aisha’s family, to dressing up ‘Bonnie’  – their gorgeous vintage Land Cruiser, who quite simple could not miss the occasion.

Captured by the talent of Cam Grove on the shores of the beautiful Great Ocean Road, it’s easy to be swept up in this stunning and heartfelt day.

Untamed Romance – Grace Loves Lace

It is among the golden Australian outback that fast-growing fashion empire Grace Loves Lace has unveiled their stunning 2015 collection.

In a perfectly-poised nod to our sunburnt country – its rich and varied history, and the vast and beautiful landscapes, Grace Loves Lace has yet again redefined modern bohemian beauty in their latest fashion offering.

Impeccable textiles and luxurious silhouettes – the signature Grace Loves Lace romance beats true in this campaign story.

Their carefully-considered, immaculately accessorised and lusciously luxe French Lace and silks have joined forces and made absolute magic.

Captured by photographer Kane Skennar and cinematographer Beren Hall, here is Untamed Romance.

Real Wedding – Lauren & Jordan, Werribee VIC

It was to the unmistakable sounds of Scottish bagpipes that Lauren walked the manicured lawns of Werribee Mansion to her waiting groom, Jordan. Any nerves that the bride-to-be felt, disappeared as she made her way down the aisle and faced the love of those around her.

Classic beauty combined with romantic touches of rustic charm set the tone of their day, and throughout each step of the planning process, Lauren and Jordan felt relaxed and excited about what lay ahead of them.

Lucky enough to experience clear skies and beaming sunshine, the pair were all smiles – especially as they took the opportunity to stop for a quiet moment together on the gorgeous grounds of the mansion before they danced into the night.

The timeless beauty of Lauren and Jordan’s wedding was captured by Smitten Photography, and the other fabulous vendors that helped make their day happen are detailed below.

Faux Glow – makeup edit

In her ten years as a bridal makeup specialist, Hilary of Hilary Holmes Makeup says there’s one look that is requested more than any other – beautiful, glowing makeup.

“It’s a look that complements a bride perfectly, as her skin is left looking as radiant as she feels on the inside,” Hilary explains – reassuring us that this look certainly isn’t restricted to brides only. “This golden glow is also a fantastic look that translates easily to every day too.”READ MORE

Real Wedding – Emma & Paul, Princetown VIC

Bright blue skies, stunning coastal vibes and a picture-perfect set up all added to the rustic charm of Emma and Paul’s Princetown wedding.

The pair, who were calm and collected in the lead up to their big day, chose to marry by the sea – along with one another’s – their home town has captured their hearts.

Kicking off their shoes and immersing their toes in the sand, Emma and Paul enjoyed some private post-ceremony moments in their stunning surrounds while being photographed by Sheree Dubois.

For these long-time lovers who adored their wedding day, they say its far more important that their marriage be just as beautiful.

Going by their story – and stunning seaside nuptials – we have a feeling that for Emma and Paul, the best really is yet to come.

Blanc Babes

It’s a trend we’re seeing more of – and an Ivory Tribe bridesmaid fave. An all white line-up of your best babes is the flavour of the day for a fresh, modern wedding.

Consider mixing textures – lace, silk or otherwise – and don’t be afraid to have a little fun with varied styles – bucking the tradition of white being reserved for the bride herself, means it’s time to have a little fun.

Pairing white dresses, skirts (or even onesies!), with metallic shoes and accessories, pops of vibrant colour – or a gorgeous rouge lippy, will take your girls’ look to the next level.

We love the overall vibe this trend gives to a bridal party – and let’s face it – if it’s good enough for Beyonce and Solange, it’s good enough for us.

Real Wedding – Erin & Andrew, Bannockburn VIC

What do you do when you experience weather conditions from hell on your wedding day?… Conjure up your inner Taylor Swift and ‘Shake it Off’? That’s exactly what Andrew and Erin did when the weather wreaked havoc on their outdoor wedding at Andrew’s family property in Bannockburn.

From the beginning, Erin and Andrew’s vision was to create a celebration that was sentimental to them, their family and their friends.  It was about bringing together the people they love, sharing their love for each other and dancing into the night – rain, hail or shine.  Captured by Lakshal Perera, we came away from this wedding with a new item on our bucket list – dancing in the rain – all night long!
