Ivory Tribe Top 5 Real Weddings – 2017

Here we are again! The end of a fabulous year and reflecting on the incredibly beautiful and unique weddings we shared on our blog in 2017.  From urban and garden celebrations in inner city Melbourne, surf coast festivals and glamour amongst the vines in the Yarra Valley, we loved each and every one of them for the unique take these couples brought to their own wedding days. We take a look back at Ivory Tribe’s Top 5 most popular real weddings of 2017.

Anna and Tom, Collingwood VIC

It’s no wonder that Anna and Tom’s wedding was an absolute favourite with you readers, they didn’t give into the temptation of doing what is ‘expected’ on their wedding day and instead just did whatever the hell they wanted! Anna bucked tradition by not wearing white and this stunning day was captured in all its glory by lens legend Tony Evans.

Lisa and Matt, Melbourne CBD VIC

Glamour in the gardens is one way to describe the incrediblw celebration that Matt and Lisa planned all the way from Dubai. On sunny and lush lawns, Lisa wore a full skirted gown by Toni Maticevski and there to shoot all the magic moments was Sabine Legrand.

Annabel and Robbie, Yarra Valley VIC

Beautiful bright whites with luscious greenery, Annabel and Robbie kept their day simple, elegant and classic, proving it to be a real winner with you all. Unsurprisingly, Annabel’s Pallas Couture gown was a knockout, and this whole darling day simply oozed perfection. Rolling Stills used their lenses to capture all the love!

Caitlin and Damien, Jan Juc VIC

Wristbands, a merch stand, coffee cart – there is nothing Caitlin and Damien didn’t think of when throwing their epic Big Day Out-inspired wedstival. An epic Twilight Glamping glamping village, food trucks and more – the wedding of these longtime lovers is a festival-goers dream. Captured by the ever talented Michael Briggs photography, get lost in the magic of this special celebration.

Nick and Claire, South Wharf VIC

An inner-city celebration was the perfect location for Nick and Claire’s epic New Year’s Eve wedding.  Sharing a New Year’s Eve kiss while fireworks lit up the sky, enjoy this stunning love filled day with images by Tess Follett.
