Real Wedding – Chelsea & Jarrod, Warrandyte South VIC
When Jarrod came into Chelsea’s local cafe and ordered himself a coffee – he got more than his money’s worth and also landed the love of his life.
Their wedding celebration was a truly elegant beginning to married life – they let the gorgeous surrounds of their chosen venue shine as they opted for minimal and classic styling to complete their relaxed party vibe.
There is modern wedding inspiration-a-plenty in this dreamy day, as captured by the talented Chloe May.
In Chelsea’s words…
The meeting.
Well, it wasn’t a complete coincidence – I’d met Jarrod’s sister when working together in beauty a few years back and she mentioned to Jarrod that I would be the perfect girl for him. One day when I was working in a cafe, he came in to get a coffee and as they say, the rest is history.
The proposal.
We had been dating three years and were holidaying in Bali. While getting ready for dinner and drinks, Jarrod had arranged for champagne to be brought up to our room.
Planning process.
We always knew we didn’t want a long engagement, so we got planning right away. The girls at Storytime Weddings actually assisted in finding our venue which was a huge weight off our shoulders.
Style inspiration.
The venue was an incredible setting which we didn’t want to detract from and we wanted a relaxed party vibe which worked perfectly.
The dress.
I was fortunate enough to find my perfect dress at the first fitting which was an incredible dress from One Day Bridal.
Favourite moment.
We loved having our nearest and dearest all together dancing the night away.
Planning surprises.
I didn’t realise just how much was involved and was so thankful to have stylists that took some of the pressures off us having to arrange.
Words of wisdom.
Engage a wedding stylist – we couldn’t have done it without them.
