This 1860’s produce store and workshop has been transformed to become a highlight of the regional Victorian hospitality landscape and from the expansive and industrial-inspired warehouse space that requires minimal styling, to the flexibility on offer – lighting, florals or soft furnishings can all be brought in as per your event needs – this is a venue that ticks all the boxes.

Catering options.

Both cocktail and seated banquet food offerings are available at Mitchell Harris Wines, with a per head menu package including a three wheel cheese tower and dessert canapés.

While there is no onsite accomodation at the venue itself, Ballarat boats a number of sweet stay options for you and your guests. From centrally-located boutique hotels and serviced apartments, to nearby short-term rentals, there is something to suit everyone.

Mitchell Harris provides many options with two event spaces moving seamlessly from your ceremony into reception with it’s rustic, cool warehouse vibe. Their professional events team will guide you and your guests through a fabulous celebration, beginning with a straightforward planning process and then delivering your special day in style with a delicious menu and great regional wines.

Cost: Banquet celebrations from $120pp, exclusive of beverages.  Cocktail from $101pp + beverage and a ceremony-only package for $1,500.

Size of venue: Mitchell Harris can accomodate 70 guests seated and 130 for a cocktail event. The ceremony space can also accomodate 130 guests.

Indoors/outdoors:  Indoor ceremony and celebration options only – but when you see the space, you’ll understand why you’ll not want to leave it!
