Jane Mackinlay began her journey as a civil celebrant when she recognised an opportunity to bring warmth, personality and relatable energy to weddings with a mission to leave the experience feeling like a friend of a couple, rather than somebody just there to do a job.
She combines her experience in media, a love of weddings and sincere admiration for the love, energy and styling that they bring to offer just that: warm, personalised ceremonies with heart.

Believing that it’s easy for just anybody to step up and recite a couple’s story, Jane believes two people marrying deserve a celebrant who takes the time to get to know them. Understanding the core of who they are, their unique love and story, while becoming a part of that story alongside them.
Often setting the tone for the day that follows, Jane is driven by crafting the perfect ceremony, however that looks her couple, and ensuring that guests leave feeling like it was less of a necessary formality and more of a mood-setting celebration to remember.
With over a decade’s worth of experience in writing, presenting and interviewing under her belt, Jane’s polished approach really shines through, but her real super-power is one of connection. Finding common ground, understanding the intricacies of a couple, and, in turn, retelling a story written for, not just about, them.
