Jif has spent thirty-five years directing; from music videos in the UK to television commercials and digital projects out of Sydney — with photography running alongside all of it, from gigs shot in the pit to weddings for friends and family. Positive feedback and a passion for weddings led Jif to embrace the industry, making weddings his focus across Sydney and regional NSW.

A director’s habit is to think in story rather than shot list, so your day is photographed as something with a narrative shape: the getting ready, the reconnections before the ceremony, the energy after the speeches.
Jif is also skilled at the part many couples dread – putting people at ease in front of the camera. Guests relax around him, which is why so much of his work is of people who don’t appear to have noticed the camera at all.

What Weddings by Jif costs and what’s included
Jif offers two packages: eight hours of coverage is $3,750, twelve hours is $4,750. Both include two pre-wedding consultations, unlimited stills, all of them graded and curated, high-resolution files and a professional online gallery.
If you’d like a second photographer or a videographer, he’ll organise it. Albums and prints can wait until you’ve seen your photos and know what you want.
