Beyond vivid imagery, a wedding film captures the sound of your wedding day — your vows, the hush that came over the room as you appeared at the end of the aisle, the spontaneous laughter, the roar of the room the second you entered as newlyweds. Sea of Love composes these images, these sounds, in a film you’ll treasure for decades after the day has ended.
Behind the name is Nathan Follett, who has spent more than fifteen years and hundreds of weddings learning how to be fully present without ever being in the way. He takes on a limited number of couples each year, by appointment, so every film gets the care and time it needs – and he’s filmed enough of Victoria’s incredible venues, from Pt. Leo Estate and Stones of the Yarra Valley to Jackalope, to read a day with impeccable timing, as it unfolds.
Nathan films the day as it happens rather than staging it, capturing real moments anchored in genuine emotion. The look is cinematic; the method is unobtrusive. You spend the day at your wedding, not on a shoot, and the film gives it back to you feeling exactly as it did – but distilled into one concentrated, emotion-filled experience.
Because Nathan’s the one who meets you at the first call and the one behind the camera on the day, nothing about your film is dealt with by a stranger.
Coverage is full-day and built in three tiers, from $5,000.
Essential is a single filmmaker for six hours with a two-to-three-minute reel; Feature, the most popular, runs to eight hours with a five-minute highlight film plus your ceremony and speeches edited in full across two cameras; and Deluxe brings a second filmmaker, up to twelve hours, three-camera ceremony coverage, drone footage and raw footage, suited to larger weddings of 200-plus.
Every film is delivered within six to eight weeks, with fortnightly progress updates through a private production portal.
Sea of Love suits couples who want their day captured as it as it felt, beautifully, intuitively and with all the raw romance, and who value a filmmaker who works quietly rather than running the room. A strong fit for couples booking a considered, cinematic film as a refined momento of their celebration.
“We are forever indebted to Nathan for capturing our day more epically than we could have ever imagined. Our wedding was filmed and photographed by the greatest sibling dynamic Duo in Nathan and Tess. Nathan blended into our day effortlessly and, despite recording every raw moment, could hardly tell he was even there. Nathan’s calm and grounded nature meant that we could be true to ourselves. We never felt posed or needing to step away from precious time with our guests.
Nathan’s unique and one-in-a-million skills in videography has left us with a wedding film that feels so ‘us,’ so unique and nothing like anyone else’s. Having Nathan film our wedding day was the best decision we made for our wedding.
If you are debating the decision, consider this done for you!
Nathan, THANK YOU, for giving us the most precious gift from the best day of our lives.
Grateful – so very grateful!”
