Tirtha Bali

Planning a wedding from another country usually means running it from a distance: emails across time zones, a team you first meet on the wedding morning, details you can only hope land the way you saw them in your head. A small number of venues take that weight off you completely.

Tirtha Bali is one of them. On the southern cliffs of Uluwatu, where its iconic Wedding Chapel looks straight out to the Indian Ocean, it has been part of the island’s destination wedding scene since 2003.

Aside from the indomitable views, Tirtha ensures a seamless planning experience, bringing planning, styling, food and coordination together under one team, led by founder and wedding director Yuka Koreyasu.

Weddings here range from intimate celebrations to weddings of 150 or more guests. All-inclusive experiences start from USD 15,000++ for 30 guests.

A clifftop chapel and a hidden garden — two Bali wedding settings

Tirtha spans two very different properties. At Tirtha Uluwatu, the Wedding Chapel sits high above the coastline with the ocean below, at its best as the afternoon dips towards sunset. The Glass Stage offers a dramatic clifftop setting for ceremonies and celebrations, while receptions can also unfold across Earth and Heaven room.

Glass House by Tirtha is its quieter counterpart: a private three-bedroom villa designed for weddings, secluded in greenery and created with privacy in mind. The celebration can unfold across the Moonlight Garden, Plumeria Room, Pool Deck and Yellow Bamboo Garden, while the couple and their closest guests can also stay overnight. Between the two properties, couples can choose from garden, indoor and outdoor settings, with the team helping match the space to guest numbers and the way they want the day to feel.

An all-inclusive Bali wedding, held together by one team

What sets a Tirtha wedding apart is everything happening behind the scenes. Planning and coordination, food and beverage and on-the-ground support are handled by Tirtha, with styling and décor by Hanamizuki by Tirtha.

Photography and videography are provided by a carefully curated list of appointed professionals.

Glass House also offers three bedrooms for accommodation, while for weddings at Tirtha Uluwatu, the team coordinates accommodation with partner hotels. Everything is planned and coordinated by Tirtha’s wedding team, from the early planning stages through to the end of the wedding.

For a wedding you’re arranging from overseas, having Tirtha’s team coordinate the different elements means less time managing suppliers from afar and more confidence in the experience on the ground. Couples who prefer to work with their own wedding organiser or creative team can choose Tirtha’s basic wedding package with food and beverage, while bringing in other external vendors subject to Tirtha’s terms and conditions.

Dining and where your guests stay in Uluwatu

Food sits at the centre of the day, led by the culinary team under Chef Ryoichi Kano, with reception menus ranging from Japanese fusion and French courses to buffets, canapés and vegan options. When it’s time to rest, Glass House by Tirtha is a private three-bedroom villa designed for weddings, allowing the couple and their closest guests to stay overnight. For weddings at Tirtha Uluwatu, additional accommodation is available through Tirtha’s partner hotel, Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu, a short distance from the venues. Selected packages include accommodation and transfers.

Wedding styles that suit Tirtha Bali

Tirtha suits couples who want their wedding to feel like them rather than like a template, and who care as much about the days their guests spend in Bali as the ceremony itself. There’s no single Tirtha look. The team has built weddings around many cultures, faiths and personalities, and would rather shape the day to you than hand you a house style. It’s a good fit if you’d like to enjoy the planning from a distance, trusting an experienced team to hold the details.

Our wedding at Tirtha was everything we dreamed of and more. The setting is magical – sweeping ocean views, beautiful spaces, and the most delicious food – but what truly sets Tirtha apart is their exceptional service and professionalism. From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly, and they made sure both we and our guests were perfectly taken care of.
A massive thank you to our wedding planner Andre and the entire Tirtha team for their incredible work. They took care of every detail behind the scenes so we could simply be present and enjoy every moment. The venue itself is breathtaking, but it’s the people who made it truly unforgettable. We will forever be grateful to Tirtha for giving us the perfect day.”
