Introducing Customs House

The city of Geelong boasts a beautiful Waterfront and set back from the hustle and bustle is an elegant wedding venue – Customs House Restaurant and Wine Bar.

The beautiful 1850’s Bluestone building is iconic and makes for the picture-perfect backdrop. With an ability to host a ceremony on the luscious lawns while using the gorgeous Customs House facade as a backdrop, it’s the perfect all-in-one location so your guests need not move.

The Customs House cuisine focuses on high quality produce, always prioritising the use of fresh, local produce and placing an emphasis on authentic flavours. Their function packages are tailored around the ideas and requests of their clients and whether you are looking for a flavoursome feast in a sit-down style wedding, or you’d prefer generous cocktail food – Customs House will work closely with you to design your dream menu. The attentive staff with strong work ethic will ensure that your needs are always met.

This is a little gem on the Geelong Waterfront we are proud to have join our Tribe – see the beautiful space below and then head here for even more on this wonderful venue.

Upon entering the intimate and romantic Customs House space, we fell in love – the possibilities are endless. They can happily accommodate a couple looking to host a large gathering of 150 guests, but they also cater for a couple that are looking for something far more intimate with their private dining areas.

This unique venue has an air of elegance and sophistication that is hard to find and we wanted to show off the possibilities for a romantic and intimate setting with the help of renowned stylist Laura Harvey of Weddings of Desire.

Embracing the rich, romantic vibe that Customs House exudes, the shoot was brought to life with a stunning array of magenta and plum-hued blooms from Charlie and Co Flowers, and captured by Stefani Driscoll Photography. Timeless timber bentwood chairs from Memphis Hire were used to create a simple yet impressive ceremony on the front lawn – a mere step away from the outdoor terrace where pre dinner cocktails and canapés can be served.
