We were excited to read that Truffleduck has recently collaborated with Terindah Estate on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. What makes Terindah Events by Truffleduck the perfect option for a wedding?

This relationship is ideal as two brilliant brands can create an outcome greater than the sum of the parts. Terindah Estate offers the perfect wedding location that usually only exists in a couple’s imagination. Truffleduck’s ability to deliver both exceptional catering and exemplary service ensures the entire wedding experience, from the initial enquiry through to the final goodbye, makes this a perfect fit.

 

Tell us more about Terindah Estate, what does it offer in terms of location? 

The Bellarine Peninsula is an emerging powerhouse as a location for weddings as couples are realising there is something special on this side of the bay. Challenging the Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley as a destination wedding location. The approach to Terindah through rolling hills of vines and paddocks filled with picturesque rural scenes creates a sense of anticipation that is completely fulfilled when you are finally greeted by exquisite views across Port Phillip Bay to the You Yangs and the Melbourne skyline.

Does Terindah Estate allow for both ceremony and reception to take place on its impressive property?

Absolutely! Terindah is beautifully flexible and perfectly configured to facilitate everything in the one venue. Guests are invited to enjoy the day without awkward gaps or the need to relocate between ceremony and reception. The secluded ceremony lawn creates the perfect backdrop for the formal part of the day with rolling hills guiding your gaze to the couple, framed by Corio Bay with the impressive You Yangs behind. The photos from this spot are only just the beginning. From here there are an abundance of locations a couple can avail from for their photographs, including the sun setting behind the vines or even a photoshoot on a private beach before re-joining the rest of the guests for pre-dinner canapes on the lawns in front of the impressive architecturally designed function space.

 

Are there inclement weather options available to a couple?

There must always be a Plan B. The ability to adapt to anything Mother Nature throws your way is essential and the barrel room is a fantastic option for a wet weather ceremony, with views across the vines. You can rest easy knowing your contingency plan is a spectacular alternative to the ceremony lawn. If the skies do not clear, the heated deck comfortably fits all of your guests for canape hour.

What is the capacity of Terindah Estate?

The wonderful thing about hosting an event at Terindah Estate is the flexibility with capacity and style. We can cater up to 200 cocktail or 180 sit down, but the best thing is our ability to create a specific look that complements the chosen theme no matter how many guests there are.

 

When it comes to your fabulous food at Terindah Estate, what are your offerings?

From our benchmark cocktail parties to an extravagant sit-down dining experience, we can do it all! We aim to use produce that is seasonal and fresh, and we pride ourselves on supporting local and ensuring clients receive a plentiful variety when choosing their menu. This choice flows through to guests on the big day as well, unlike most venues guests are offered a meal selection to choose from rather than alternate drop. Our brochures are extensive in their offering but if a couple is looking for something different, we love creating concepts. Incorporating special touches are what make Truffleduck weddings unique to our clients. Another great thing about working with Terindah is the quality of their wines which is such a bonus. We are more than happy to work with couples to match their menu with the fabulous selection of wines available.

Did we hear that couples can glamp on the property with their guests? 

There is certainly an option to glamp on the property, run by Twilight Glamping, who ar local to the area. You can book out the sites exclusively for your wedding weekend or you can simply offer it as a fun accommodation option for your guests to book their tents and wake up to views of the bay after your big day.

 

What style of wedding best suits Terindah Estate?

Any style, there is nothing that we can’t do. Whether it is cocktail style, sit down, edible installations or a mixture of these throughout the evening. There is no fixed furniture in the event space and by using our extensive supplier network there are so many options to help configure the space to make it uniquely yours. We can individualise a wedding with all manner of furniture and fun pieces that create a look that will align with the couple’s imagination and vision.

Can couples come for a walk-through tour and how do they best arrange this?

Site inspections are by appointment to ensure you get quality one-on-one time with one of our experienced event managers. This allows you to walk through the property and ask the important questions!
