When the latest works of Kath of Bow Creative landed at our desks we knew we’d have a glorious story to tell.
‘Velvet Trees’, ‘Blue Willows’ and ‘Terracotta Smoke’ are three dreamy displays of this powerhouse brand’s work in action. One, telling the story of a cosmopolitan vibe with distinctly country undertones, the next, singing the song of the barron desert earth and its power and the lastly, the chance to bring beachside bliss to your day, even if you’re far removed from the sea.
Demonstrating how to celebrate your environmental surrounds and draw inspiration to complete your wedding styling, here’s your chance to get swept up in the magic…
VELVET TREES
Seeking a Melbourne venue that demonstrates the city’s casual dining scene and evokes cosmopolitan vibes, Rupert ops Rupert played host to this glorious green-filled ensemble.
The desire of the city versus country is in high demand from couples who want the best of both worlds on their wedding day and through the use of texture, Velvet Trees is about the meeting of the city and the forest.
Drawing on the cohesion of the disposition, the result oozes cool and is the epitome of sophistication. From the city landscape and dark, moody hues, to the textural green inclusions in a nod to the forest, Velvet Trees is modern in feeling, punctuated by candlelight and soft grey linens.
This display is the perfect example having the best of both worlds when it comes to your wedding styling.

TERRACOTTA SMOKE
Terracotta Smoke is inspired by the raw earth and Australia’s bare desert. Our current climate emphasises barren land and this concept’s style is reflective of this.
Driven by the reds of the earth, with whispers of grey and green to represent the evergreens found in a desert-scape, golds and brass additions elevate the design to ensure a sense of luxe is achieved.
BLUE WILLOWS
Blue Willows is inspired by the serenity felt when looking out onto the ocean, feeling as if you lived in a cottage by the sea.
Inspired by the beach, but not at the beach – the staging here is natural, serene and inclusive of colour.
Translating the oceanic vibe, with the washed-up wood found on the sand into a dreamy tablescape, Blue Willows mimics the untamed, moody landscapes of the sea.
Curated to perfection Blue Willows brings the outdoors in and is simply sublime.
