We absolutely adore a collaboration and when it’s one between our very own Anastasia Tushuizen of Carte Blanche Bride and Vanessa Cocchiaro, a contemporary prêt-à-porter bridal designer based in Paris, we know the results will be something special.
Founder of Carte Blanche, Anastasia, offers a bespoke bridal shopping experience like no other. Having gained extensive experience as a senior buyer for historic luxury store ‘Le Louvre’ her aim is to help women celebrate their personality and style in their dress choice.
Carte Blanche exclusively stock a refined selection of bespoke French-designed, French-made wedding dresses and have invited Vanessa Cocchiaro to introduce her line of contemporary, easy-to-wear wedding garments to Australia for the very first time.
The collection includes dresses in short and longer lengths, as well as elegant jumpsuits and separates. These pieces refresh traditional expectations of what a bride must look like on her wedding day and reinforce Carte Blanche’s values of catering to each woman’s individual needs and tastes. Both brands are taking note of major changes to the bridal industry, brought on by shifting societal perspectives towards the concept of marriage, and additionally the disruptive effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on wedding ceremonies and the way people have been required to adapt their celebrations.
In the lead up to this debut, there are some exciting things happening. Vanessa will be taking over Carte Blanche Bride’s Instagram account on 19th August and on 26th August the designer will join Anastasia for an Instagram Live, where you will have the opportunity to hear about their business’, career path and they will be able to ask any questions you might have.
If you’re interested in viewing the collection and considering it for upcoming weddings or occasions you can do so from the 2nd to 9th of September. There will also be a ‘Showroom Weekend’ in Malvern VIC on 4th and 5thSeptember, where Vanessa herself will be attending from Paris to provide insightful one-on-one styling advice in addition to Anastasia’s services.
These exclusive, numbered appointments are available to book through the Carte Blanche Bride website. For those based around Australia and New Zealand, the collection will also be available for purchase online throughout the collaboration.
