What inspired your latest collection?
In previous years we have looked almost exclusively to nature for inspiration and while natural elements are still present in our new line it represents how we feel about art and the changing direction of bridal fashion. Classic artistic techniques have been incorporated throughout the creation of these gowns: from pattern making to beading and beyond, but inspiration has also been drawn from modern art and that which is more abstract manifesting in the overall feel of the collection and having a strong influence on its obvious textural appeal.
Who is the Madi Lane bride?
The Madi Lane bride has been a somewhat alternative version of the girl next door: a woman who believes that less is more especially when it comes to shoes – you can find her barefoot on the beach, her loosely styled hair unchanged by the breeze – a contemporary bohemian and a true romantic, but Madi Luxe has been designed to capture the hearts of those who, while bohemian at their core, have a penchant for luxury and an eye for style.
