Overlooking Ocean Gove’s Surf Beach, the eye-catching and architectually-designed building itself has a contemporary feel. The wooden facade creates a cinematic experience that is ideal for watching the waves crash, or taking in the silhouettes of surfers as the sun goes down. Natural materials have been used throughout the space and with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow an abundance of light, your guests can sip on cocktails as they soak up the spectacular views.
Begin your day with a sweet ceremony in their beautiful grassy space that sits atop the sand dunes and overlooks the waves. This large space offers panoramic views of Ocean Groves main beach, The Bluff, and beyond! And the best part? It’s only 100 metres walk to THE DUNES, so your ceremony can seamlessly flow into cocktail hour and reception.
Speaking of cocktail hour, why not start your celebrations with an al fresco affair on their gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea? With canapés and drinks in hand, it’s the perfect place to mingle with your guests and soak up the seaside atmosphere. THE DUNES also offer a seated menu that includes canapés as a starter, followed by alternate drop entree and alternate drop mains with shared sides.

Alternatively, you might like to keep more of a party vibe and utilise their cocktail menu offering, with canapés served roving throughout the evening. Or perhaps you’d like to create a completely custom menu, and this is where THE DUNES excel. Inspired by you, they take into consideration your favourite meals, or memorable first date moments and allow you to work directly with their chef to design a bespoke package perfectly suited to your style and taste. THE DUNES is one of the hottest new venues on the Bellarine Peninsula. For full venue use, there is a capacity of 120 guests seated and 160 guests cocktail style. Though additional numbers can be accommodated by hiring their surf club space that can be accessed by concertina walls between the spaces, giving a consistent and cohesive feel.
