A ten-guest wedding done like a fashion editorial

Wanting a celebration that felt warm, intimate and effortlessly stylish, Nick and Nicole found the perfect setting at Orlo. Surrounded by just 10 of their nearest and dearest, they created a wedding day that was both deeply personal and visually unforgettable.

Guests were welcomed into a ceremony space transformed by cascading draping and sculptural florals that felt more like works of art than traditional arrangements. Nicole made a stunning entrance in a gown featuring a draped bodice and sweeping split, complemented by a statement bouquet bag that perfectly reflected the modern, fashion-forward feel of the day.

Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests gathered around a beautifully styled long table adorned with lush greenery and florals. Sharing a meal together in one intimate setting only added to the warmth of the celebration, proving that when it comes to creating an unforgettable wedding, it’s not about the size of the guest list, but the moments shared.

Captured beautifully by Kylee Yee, it’s a masterclass in intimate entertaining, incredible styling and celebrating with intention.

The meeting.

We met ten years ago online through a dating app (as lots of people do these days!). After exchanging messages back and forth, we decided to meet for a casual drink, and the rest, as they say, is history!

The one.

There wasn’t one big moment – it happened naturally over time. The more we did life together, the more it just felt easy, solid and right.

The proposal.

Very low-key. A regular Friday night eating fish and chips on the beach and watching the sunset.

Style inspiration.

We wanted our wedding to feel warm, intimate and effortlessly stylish. The draping, florals and greenery created a beautiful but relaxed atmosphere that felt very true to us.

Favourite moment.

Not any one moment, just celebrating together with the people we love most.

Meaning of marriage.

Marriage to us means having a true partner through every stage of life, someone to grow with, lean on, laugh with, and take on whatever comes next.

Wedding Soundtrack.

Aisle: Enchanted (piano version) – Taylor Swift and Simply the Best – Noah Reid

Reception entry: Feel So Close – Calvin Harris

Words of wisdom.

Focus on what actually matters to you both, not what you feel you should do. The day goes so quickly, so build it around the people and moments you’ll genuinely care about looking back on, not just the details that look good on paper.
