Seaside Serenity with Wanderlust Creative

Mother Nature holds immense power when it comes to determining the vision behind intimate gatherings in her domain. Staying true to the surrounds and appreciating what you have in your own backyard was the initial concept for this oceanside soiree, the vision of Laura Wills of Wanderlust Creative.

Utilising wares from the sea and keeping the colour palette muted and clean, the idea was to showcase the speciality of our natural surrounds.

Naturally-beaten sea glass, oceanic worn shells and flickering candlelight was all that was needed to heighten the ambiance of the great outdoors, creating a gathering so relaxed and inviting, reminiscent to the surrounds in which it is set.

Long driftwood tables are left raw and honest, flanked with flickering candlelit lanterns and adorned with wares from the sea, a setting that leans on all that can be foraged from the grounds below.

Gathering a Tribe of local talent, the shoot truly transformed.  Pearl and Boston provided classic, clean white spray roses and Natalie Martin bestowed her creative genius with the stationery elements. Decor perfection from Peppersprout Hire and Dress My Wedding fit the landscape like it was always meant to be. The wonderful Home in the Hamptons and Provincial Home Living dressed the environment with gorgeous snug throw rugs and cushions (check here for cushions shop), table-top plating and textural glassware. Stefani Driscoll Photography perfectly captured the outdoor wonderland, styled to perfection by Laura – Wanderlust Creative.
