About to embark on marriage and a new life in Melbourne, long distance lovers Nadiah and Yusuf, decided an engagement shoot was the perfect way to celebrate this exciting time.
Nadiah rocked the boho babe look in her white statement dress from Sheike – as she and Yusuf frolicked in the shallow waters of Black Rock, the perfect location for this playful pair.
It’s easy to be swept up in the magic of this sweet shoot and destination photographer Kylee Yee was there to capture all the moments and more.
The meeting.
Yusuf’s sister set us up on a awkward date in Canberra where Nadiah used to live.
‘The One’.
The moment I (Yusuf) saw her, I knew she was the one.
The proposal.
Yusuf tied the ring to his cats collar and waited for the cat to come to Nadiah before he popped the question.
Engagement shoot.
We decided to do an engagement shoot as we wanted to have more photos of us as a couple to display at home, as well as use for our own wedding.
Location.
We chosen Black Rock as the location of our shoot as Kylee, our photographer recommended this, and we were so happy with the scenic results.
Favourite moment.
It was great to just laugh with each other and have fun on the beach.
Wedding planning.
It has been hectic with lots of last minute things to do, and many late nights arranging all the little things but we are very excited.
Meaning of marriage.
It’s the coming together of the souls, heart and mind. A commitment for life.
