Sélene ’22 ELOPE COLLECTION – Karen Willis Holmes
It’s no secret we adore the work of Australian designer Karen Willis Holmes, so we are simply thrilled to introduce their latest collection, ‘Sélene’.
Named after the goddess of the moon, this eight-piece capsule collection builds upon the already established and adored ELOPE range, recognised for its bold bridal suits, powerful jumpsuits, celestial silk slips and daring minis.
These eight exquisite gowns are made with buttery silk satins that gravitate around the body like liquid gold, complemented by slips that have been hand-sewn in a heavy dublin crepe, giving form and structure. What we love about KWH is that they are Australian made and these pieces reflect the effortless Australian lifestyle we live and breathe.
A few highlights include Margo, a glamorous wedding gown featuring a slim, bias-cut silhouette with a 3⁄4 sleeve adorned with elegant silk covered buttons at the cuff, divine draping through the batwing arm and an optional buckle belt to cinch the waist.
Then there is Tammy, a twisted halter neck gown with side illusion cut-outs and a sexy split in the skirt. By far, one of the favourites from the collection is Tiffany, a semi-structured silk slip gown with a cowl neck and bias-cut skirt reminiscent of the ’20s.. The stunning back is secured by silk covered buttons that sweep into a dramatic, luminous train. Every piece is a true statement maker.
The ’22 ELOPE collection is handcrafted in their Sydney workroom and is made to order. It is available in AU sizes 4- 20. These gorgeous gowns can be found exclusively in KAREN WILLIS HOLMES boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, their online boutique, as well as select stockists in Australia and worldwide.
Prices range from AUD $1990 to $4590, enjoy scrolling these darling designs.
