Think beautiful grazing stations where the guests can help themselves; or sit-down menus that allow guests to choose their own main meal from four options; a casual carvery; shared plates that encourage socialising and their new dugustation menus are set to impress any foodie.

What is the process for couples booking with you – do you offer site visits, a dedicated co-ordinator, how hands-on are you with assisting their planning?
From site visits, to co-ordination and meeting with our couples along the way. Food tastings and open days. We are a small passionate team who love working with our couples booking to the day and beyond. We have just had a weekend of cellar door bookings with over six couples from last season coming back to say hi, and enjoy a wine – we love this.
“Our favourite part of our day at The Riverstone Estate was when we were driven out to the vineyards on the golf buggy and told to just have 15 minutes to ourselves, we were given a glass of champagne each as well as a delicious cheese platter to enjoy. With Melbourne’s unpredictable weather, how do you accommodate a rainy day?
We have plan B options, of course, and this property even on a rainy day has its own mystical mood, its fabulous. Rain, hail or shine its their wedding day and we deliver.
What trends or exciting new things are you seeing from couples booking with you?
Our couples are coming to us seeking inspiration and loving what’s been done on the property before which we love. We work closely with our couples to create something unique and bespoke, always keeping in mind and utilising our natural surrounds. We’re so lucky to be able to embrace and celebrate the natural beauty of our property and find that trends and styling that compliment this always work best. Drawing inspiration from seasonality and colour palette of the property at the time of your wedding is something to keep in mind and helps create a suitable aesthetic to really impress your guests.
With so much experience in weddings and events, your staff will be well equipped to deal with any wedding day dilemmas, what advice would you offer couples planning their special day?
Relax and leave the day to us – your in good hands, the small things you are worried about are just that !

With impressive panoramas and multiple ceremony locations, there is the opportunity to either opt for a simple ceremony set up letting the landscape provide the perfect backdrop or, let your imagination run wild and utilise the space with floral installations, decorative arbors or even a teepee.
