Cleveland Estate is what happens when a heritage property gets a proper renovation and nothing precious is lost. The bones are 1882, a historic homestead on 42 acres of vineyard, farmland, cottage gardens, and lake, but the interiors are contemporary, nature-inspired, and designed to feel like the ideal place to celebrate over a weekend. That combination of old-property character and modern comfort is hard to find, and it’s what makes Cleveland work so beautifully.
Set in the Macedon Ranges with panoramic views across the vines and surrounding ranges, the estate offers ceremony, reception, and accommodation all on one property.
Ceremony and reception spaces at Cleveland Estate
Multiple indoor and outdoor spaces give you flexibility across seasons and guest numbers. The Great Room is the main reception space, boasting exposed timber beams, fresh modern design and capacity for up to 120 seated with a dance floor or 140 without. The Carriage House restaurant offers a moodier, more intimate option with alfresco dining, while the Chardonnay Terrace and Lake View Room work for ceremonies and smaller gatherings. You’re covered rain or shine, and the grounds photograph well year-round.

Your menu is led by the estate’s executive chef, built around seasonal produce sourced from local and regional Macedon Ranges producers. Whether you’re planning a sit-down feast or cocktail-style reception (up to 200 guests), the kitchen works with you to shape the menu to your celebration. Food and beverage packages start from $165 per person.

Forty-four guest rooms across the property, featuring modern furnishings, nature-inspired materials, and artworks by celebrated artists. For something more private, the original 1882 homestead houses six spa suites, ideal for wedding preparations or as a bridal suite.
