In 2015, Alexander went looking for a suit and couldn’t find one that fit. Eleven years on, that problem has become Suitably, a custom suiting house that will now measure you by app from your own living room.
Every Suitably garment is cut, fashioned and stitched by hand by master tailors, with more than 5,000 fabrics to choose from and free customisations across lapels, linings, buttons and monogramming. Suits start at $999.95 and arrive in three to four weeks, with tailored shirts, neckties, bowties and cufflinks available alongside them. Shipping is free and couriered worldwide, and finance is available through AfterPay and Humm.
The measuring is where they’ve solved something genuinely tricky. Book a free consultation at their Richmond showroom, get measured at any of 120+ locations around the country, follow their self-measuring guide, or use the app, which takes your height, weight, age and two photos and builds a 3D model in about two minutes. For a wedding party scattered across three states, that’s the difference between a logistical headache and a non-event.
They’ll also manage the groomsmen for you, which is the part most grooms don’t realise they need until they’re chasing five people for chest measurements. Dedicated wedding consultants handle parties of any size, and there’s a Groom’s Bundle if you’d rather have the whole look sorted in one go.
“I had a fantastic experience with Alexander at Suitably while organising my wedding suit. He is an absolute professional—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing great service.
From the very beginning, Alexander made me feel comfortable and confident in my choices. He asked the right questions, offered thoughtful advice, and guided me through each step of the process with patience and care. His attention to detail and ability to understand my needs made a big difference, especially during the early decision-making stage.
I truly appreciated his professionalism and support throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend Alexander and the team at Suitably for anyone looking for a quality suit and exceptional service.”
