Embracing an ever-classic and oh-so-chic New York-inspired vibe, Alycia and Adrian let their personalities shine in planning their Melbourne city soiree.

Set against the backdrop of The Trust in Melbourne, their special day stylistically aligns with the striking architectural surrounds of the venue, a monochromatic wedding party fit for the chic surrounds, and cascading beauty of baby’s breath florals artfully arranged by the clever Anatomy of Flowers team.

Beauty at every turn, Alycia stunned in a perfect-fit Kyha Studios modern, tiered tulle ballgown, complemented by a sleek ponytail, while their reception tablescapes left a lasting impression.

The meeting.

Met through a mutual friend in October 2019.

The ‘one’.

We survived covid lockdown and actually made it fun.

The proposal.

We had a gorgeous weekend away at Mitchelton Wineries and on the last morning he got down on one knee and proposed.

The planning.

We had an amazing experience. Entrusting Nudo events especially Katie our wedding planner was the best decision ever. They made the experience seamless, created exactly what we envisioned. Also, we did it all in seven months.

Style inspiration.

New York, Chic and Classic. I think it was a combination of both of our styles/personalities.

The ceremony.

Alycia is from North Queensland, so seeing all our closest family and friends together to witness was so special and also the vows.

The outfits.

Adrian wanted a custom-made suit, he went with P. Johnson classic tux to complement our New York vibe. Alycia loved Kyha Studios, and as we only had six months to go by the time I could get an appointment I said to the stylists at Kyha, ‘today is the day I need to buy a dress’, and they were absolutely amazing at finding a style that suited my body type and personality.

Favourite moments.

We both loved the speeches. Hearing our best friends say their speech was so special.

Meaning of marriage.

Continuing to make each other smile everyday, being supportive to each other and building our dream life as a team.

Florist: Anatomy Of Flowers – Did you see my tables? Stunning! My flowers were gorgeous! Nailed my New York chic vibe.

Hair: Dom from Neike Hair – The amazing, talented Dom from Neike, such a beautiful vibe to have the morning we of the wedding and nailed our hair!

Make-up: Adele Rossi – We were all obsessed with our faces, Adele is a true artist and our makeup lasted all day and night. Also just a gorgeous person I loved having her as a part of our day!
