Kyha Scott went looking for her own wedding dress in 2011 and didn’t find the one she had in her head. What she wanted was sleeker, sharper, closer to the clothes she actually loved wearing. So she made it, and then kept creating.
Fifteen years on, the label she founded as One Day is designed in Melbourne and worn well beyond it.

The KYHA signature is sleek minimalism with detailing doing the heavy lifting: lace pared back against modern beading, a well-judged split, a plunging neckline, and almost always something happening at the back. It’s bridal built by someone thinking like a fashion designer, which is why the gowns turn up on red carpets as readily as down aisles.
In 2016 the studio added KYHA Bride, a ready-to-wear and made-to-size line of modern gowns and separates carrying the same aesthetic at a more accessible entry point. Alongside the main collections, there are Second Look pieces for the reception, veils and accessories, and a womenswear range, with collections like Chroma and Waterlines released through the year.
Designed in Melbourne and now stocked in more than 30 countries, KYHA has flagship boutiques in Melbourne, Sydney and New York, with appointments bookable through their stylist team and pieces available online.
