Your invitation is the first piece of your wedding anyone gets to hold. Thick cardstock, a considered typeface, an envelope in a colour you picked, all of it landing in a letterbox months before the day itself. Mila + May have built their whole business around getting that moment right, at a price that leaves room for the rest of the wedding.
They work from a collection of pre-designed suites rather than building custom artwork from scratch, which is precisely why the pricing lands where it does, and why an order can be turned around in one to three weeks. Everything ships Australia-wide.
The suites are named and minimalist: EMERY, COURTNEY, BROOKLYN, PHOEBE, SADIE, HANNAH and more, each available across a full range of cardstock colours and envelope shades. You mix and match only what you need, so nobody is buying a fixed package with three items in it they’ll never send.
The range carries the whole way through. Save the dates, invitations, details and RSVP cards and printed or labelled envelopes to start, then menus, place cards, table numbers, bar menus and vow cards for the day itself, then photo thank you cards once it’s over. Arch and wave cuts are standard, with specialty die cut shapes, white ink on dark cardstock and guest name personalisation available on top.
Invitations start at $97.50, save the dates and details cards at $80, with C5 envelopes from $1.75 and C6 from $1.20. Upgrades are priced separately: guest name personalisation at $65 and white ink at $100. A sample pack is the sensible first move if you want to feel the cardstock before you commit, and there’s a “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” card at $6.50 for the ask that comes earlier.
Two newer additions are worth knowing about. They now build wedding websites that match your stationery suite, fonts, colour palette and all, from $49 to set up. And if you’ve found a design elsewhere that you love, their printing service will put it on the same premium cardstock.
All of it is designed and printed in Australia on FSC-accredited stock, and arrives in a reusable calico bag with eco wrap. One of the Mila + May team is allocated to your order and stays with it through the proof stage, which is what most of their reviews end up being about.
Thank you Mila + May for such beautiful invitations. They are more than I expected – thick, high quality paper, clear printing and beautiful designs. The photos don’t do it justice – they are so stunning and I am so happy with them.”

Yes. Mila + May are an online wedding stationery studio shipping Australia wide, with orders generally completed within one to three weeks. They recommend ordering in line with the timeline in their design guide, and note that white ink printing adds around two weeks as it’s produced off site.
Mila + May work from pre-designed suites with limited customisation of their base templates, rather than designing from scratch, which is how they keep their pricing where it is. You choose your suite, cardstock colour, envelope, die cut shape and wording. They also offer a printing service if you’ve sourced a design elsewhere and want it printed on their cardstock.
