Emma Roberts has married actor Cody John, saying “I do” at his family estate in Sun Valley, Idaho. The couple wed at an intimate outdoor ceremony in summer heat, with close family and friends looking on (aunt Julia Roberts among them) and her five-year-old son Rhodes holding her hand down the aisle.

The gown was custom Monique Lhuillier: silk chiffon, hand-dyed to a tea-stained shade named “antique rose” after Roberts’ middle name, and inspired by her love of antique books and old ephemera.

Her brief? To look like “a little antique ghost doll.” Nine months and close to 1,000 hours to bring it to life. The groom wore espresso-coloured Ferragamo.

Then came the switch — an archival Monique Lhuillier piece from 2004, floor-length black lace with a sheer corset top, for the afterparty.

Colour over pure white, vintage over new, black lace after dark. Our take? Deliciously haunting.

Victoria Beckham designed Mel C’s wedding dress, twice over.

Melanie C (of Spice Girls fame, for anyone too young to remember Wannabe) has married Australian model and filmmaker Chris Dingwall, and Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, had more than a hand in the fashion.

For the couple’s celebration at a lakeside property in Cumbria, Victoria designed and gifted a custom ivory gown — a full-length backless silk slip in lace, worn with a wildflower bouquet and photographed exclusively for British Vogue.

It was the second Beckham dress of the wedding, as it turns out. The couple first married legally in Dingwall’s native Australia, where the VB gown Mel C had ordered arrived too late to alter.

Victoria’s fix? Lending her the exact dress from her own wardrobe. “Victoria’s dress was my something borrowed,” Mel C told Vogue.

Three of the four remaining Spice Girls made the trip to Cumbria, with Mel C’s 17-year-old daughter Scarlett as bridesmaid. Victoria couldn’t be there in person, but the gown was her way of being in the room.

For a woman who says she never dreamed about a wedding dress, we adore that it was a long-term friend who designed the one she finally wore.

Dua Lipa married actor Callum Turner at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on Sunday, stepping out to confetti in a tailored ivory blazer with a sculpted asymmetric skirt, Christian Louboutin pumps and a Bulgari serpent necklace. With just seven or eight guests in attendance, it was intimate by any measure and magnetic by every one.

It’s giving contemporary bridal with bold personality, tailored style and nods to her own style icons.

For Dua Lipa, Vogue credits the reference point to Bianca Jagger, 1971 — also a blazer, also a hat; a fit that made bridal cool.

For couples feeling the pull toward something smaller, the Lipa-Turner wedding is a reminder that intimacy doesn’t mean compromise. A civil ceremony can be effortlessly impactful. Plenty of couples say they wish they could relive their wedding day, and Hollywood A-lister Paris Hilton and hubby of five years, Carter Reum have done just that following a sweet “will you marry me… again?” proposal on Valentine’s Day.

Five years after their headline-making 2021 wedding, Paris revealed the vow-renewal celebration on social media, sharing that her “forever Valentine” put on the beautiful display just days before her birthday. Naturally, she said yes all over again, with their children Phoenix and London very much a part of the moment.

Iconic as ever, Hilton wore a chic white Grecian-inspired gown paired with silver gloves, and a statement choker, with Reum rocking a crisp white suit.

Sex And The City fan favourite Kim Cattrall has officially married long-time partner Russell Thomas, slipping in a chic, low-key ceremony in Surrey while the internet was looking elsewhere. The pair kept things intimate, opting for just 12 guests at Chelsea Old Town Hall — a venue with serious star pedigree, having hosted the weddings of Judy Garland, Hugh Grant and Pierce Brosnan over the years.

Leaning into understated modern-romance, the Canberra celebration looked intimate, understated and brimming with heart.
