In the next part of our series, which shows you what a content creator can add to your wedding day, we step behind the scenes with Caitlin and Cam.

Through the very-now lens of Bridal BTS, working alongside their talented photographer Calla Esse, this stunning day unfolds with breathtaking emotion, stunning style and darling details. From a gorgeous first-look reveal to the micro-moments of effervescent excitement between Cam and Cait, Bridal BTS captures the full array of feels.

We love a micro-wedding, and this one gives all the epic impact of a full-scale celebration while keeping things chic, intimate, and effortlessly romantic.

Style inspiration.

We wanted to have the glamour of a big wedding but still keep the celebration low-key and personal to us. We wanted to keep it intimate and personal, inviting only our closest family and friends.

Favourite moments.

For the both of us, it was the first look. And then, the time we were able to spend together before the ceremony and reception. We felt this time was so special as it was just us and the photographers, really enjoying the moment and the anticipation of the ceremony and celebration to come. The first look also included our daughter Poppy, and having her be a part of the day was so, so special as well.

Funny stories (or near disasters).

The biggest near disaster was Cait’s dad being rushed to hospital the day before the wedding! He flew over to Melbourne from Tasmania, arrived on the Wednesday, was admitted to hospital on the Thursday, missed the wedding on the Friday and spent another couple of weeks recovering! (He is totally fine now and it was perhaps a blessing in disguise, but it didn’t feel like it at the time).

The day before the wedding, Cam managed to fall down the stairs at home, carrying our welcome sign for the wedding. Neither of us was worried about Cam; we were just worried that the sign might have been broken!

The funniest part of the whole wedding is that most of our plans changed six weeks before the day and somehow we pulled it off. We were originally planning to do a small “courthouse” wedding in Melbourne and then do a fun Vegas/White Chapel-style wedding next year. As the planning began, we realised this wasn’t exactly what we wanted and with six weeks to go before the date, we changed the venue for the ceremony and reception, changed the catering, changed the flowers, booked a musician, changed our accommodation, invited 20 more people and booked a honeymoon!
