IVORY TRIBE REAL WEDDINGS – BEST OF 2024

Emily & Luke, Photo – Kinship by Kristy

2024 has been a year for breathtaking real weddings infused with tastefully impactful signature styles. Whilst trends have seen brides don dramatic sleeves, grooms in dapper white dinner jackets and an infusion of 90s minimalism, our real wedding couples have brought their own personality and vision to infuse truly unique elements into their stunning celebrations.

It’s been a year filled with heartwarming, nostalgic throwbacks, chic, fashion-forward fits and endless uplifting emotions. We’ve been inspired and captivated, and have loved nothing more than pouring over your incredible celebrations.

We’ve loved rounding up Ivory Tribe’s most popular real wedding features of 2024 – we hope you enjoy them.

David & Madeleine | Howden, TAS

For David and Madeleine, their wedding vibe was Tuscan villa with a timeless feel. Underpinning the stunning elegance of the soft, classic styling was a fresh modern sensibility, realised through artful typography detailing, fashion-forward yet enduring outfit choices, and minimalist but impactful florals.

Guest experience was also at the forefront of Madeleine and David’s planning, with the intention being that their closest friends and family would feel they’d escaped to Italy for the weekend. And wow, did they nail the brief. From the incredible aesthetics of the venue to the ocean-backed vista of the ceremony, this is a one-of-a-kind moment, captured with artful perfection by the talent of Kinship by Kristy.

Ashlee & Andrew | Yarra Valley, VIC

Sometimes when viewing a real wedding, we find we just can’t get the smiles off our faces – as was absolutely the case with Ash and Andy’s epic Yarra Valley celebration. Whether it’s the picture-perfect imagery by lens legend Motta Weddings, the emotions overflowing from every frame, or just the fact we can tell everyone present had the very best time, this day is a true treat to witness.

Surrounded by her bridesmaids in cool ice blue, Ash glows in her beautifully minimalist gown by Jane Hill.

Unsurprisingly, Andy’s face when he first catches sight of his glowing bride is nothing short of heartwarming.

Underpinning all this infectious emotion is the styling by our friend and floral visionary, Sugar Bee Flowers. Stunning blooms are arranged in cascading towers, elevating the sleek natural landscape of Hubert Estate and adding tonal vibrancy to the chic interior.

George & Georgie | Portsea, VIC

For teenage sweethearts George and Georgia, their wedding was a celebration big on feels, aesthetics, and vibe. For Georgia, who loves to host family and friends for meals, it was important that their celebration give just that—elevated dinner party chic.

Georgia is breathtaking in a Jacquard fabric custom gown by the super-talent at Luci Di Bella. The fresh, timeless silhouette allows the statement pressed detailing of the fabric to bring an ultra-modern feel while retaining classic grace. We love the bow hairpiece, a perfect nod to elegant nostalgia.

With music legends Hey Jack at the helm, the soundtrack to the day brought all the epic feels—ending with an epic dance floor dance party. Every emotion-packed moment is captured through the lens of David Muir Photography.

Madeleine & Jono | Macedon Ranges, VIC

In the serene surrounds of Lancemore Macedon Ranges, Madeleine and Jono’s garden-themed wedding unfolded like a beautiful dream. Their styling combined tantalising textures and warm, golden hues with floral accents darted throughout.

The ceremony took place amongst the enchanting secret garden with lush hedges enclosing the space, making guests feel as though they were entering a magical world, extended by celebrant Megan Thompson, who crafted an intimate, warm and light-hearted ceremony that captured Madeleine and Jono’s love to perfection.

Tess Follett and Moon and Back Co were there to capture each joy-filled moment in their signature candid styles before finishing the evening on a high with the team from Hey Jack delivering a dance floor where everyone shimmied the night away. It was the perfect ending to an evening that marked Madeleine and Jono’s new beginning.

Sho & Adam | Melbourne, VIC

Sho and Adam’s stunning soiree is a testament to their elevated sense of style and sharp insider insight. Sho, who has been planning weddings for over a decade, chose to make her intimate celebration very different from many she plans for others—an inner-city affair that dials up the party feel and drops the wedding extras, captured perfectly by Jessica Sadie.

Surrounding themselves with a truly A-class team of vendors helped realise this vibrant vision – beginning with a perfectly personal, uplifting ceremony by ultra-talent Kat of The Celebrandt.

While Adam cuts a sharp figure in his classic noir suit by MJ Bale, Sho is breathtakingly radiant in her Eva Lendal gown from our friends at The Bridal Curator – giving elegant contemporary queen, enhanced for the ceremony with a dreamy veil by Amelie George.

In a true masterstroke, Sho briefed superstar florist Flowers by Varu simply with her styling ethos—elegant city chic—and then left them to have full creative control. From the colour scheme to the table styling, everything was a surprise to Sho and Adam on the day, and boy, what a stunning surprise.

We couldn’t love this more, from the choices to the trust to the final look.

Emily & Luke | Coldstream, VIC

After assembling an A+ team of vendors, Luke and Emily relaxed into the planning process and allowed their impeccable dream day vision to be realised.

And what a vision it is.

Taking inspiration from weddings she had attended, Emily leant into fresh, contemporary elegance, with a white-on-white colour palette accented with perfect pops of deep russet brown, realised in dreamy cloud like elegance by Love Alfalfa florals.

Captured in true visual poetry by the legendary Kinship by Kristy, we dare you not to keep on scrolling these breathtaking images.

Meg & Joel | Sunbury, VIC

The quaint, rustic charm of Emu Bottom Homestead lent a timeless elegance to Meg and Joel’s heartfelt celebration, making it the perfect setting for their simple yet soulful wedding day. Surrounded by history and nature, the couple exchanged vows beneath the shade of a towering eucalyptus gum – one of many scattered across the scenic property with bountiful blooms by Pomp and Splendour framing their ceremony, adding a whimsical beauty to the intimate moment.

Meg exuded elegance in a gracefully draped satin slip gown, while Joel looked effortlessly handsome in a custom YSG tailored suit, both embracing a look of understated sophistication. The day’s precious moments were beautifully captured by Georgia Verrells, preserving the warm, joyful atmosphere that filled the homestead grounds throughout the evening.

Natasha & Brandon | Yarra Valley, VIC

Imagine a beautiful summer celebration in the sweeping fields of the Yarra Valley, with florals in a warm kaleidoscope of hues enhancing the chic minimalist backdrop of Zonzo. This is Natasha and Brandon’s effervescent wedding, a culmination of a high school romance and a community that has been a part of their love story for many years.

Natasha’s exquisitely unique gown by Holly Butler epitomises modern style, with perfectly on-point off-shoulder lace sleeves and elegant bodice detail, overshone only by her truly infectious, megawatt smile. The look on Brandon’s face as she steps up the aisle toward him is everything.

Captured by superstar Maegan Brown Moments, this darling day is an endorphin hit in visual form and one we think you’ll adore!

Leticia & Daniel | Phillip Island, VIC

Leticia and Dan’s celebration is everything we love about a wedding—and it has left us with full hearts and cheesy grins. It was effortless elegance, unbridled emotion, truly effervescent smiles, and only the happiest tears.

With a team of grounded, talented, and genuinely fabulous humans around them, Dan and Leticia cruised into their dream day, relaxed and glowing. Leticia looks stunningly chic in her Sassi Holford gown from our friends at Bluebell Bridal, and Dan’s reaction as he first caught sight of his bride speaks to Leticia’s impact more than words can.

The talented team of Nikki McCrone Photography and Julien Studio videography captures every truly heartwarming moment and aesthetically bliss-filled vision with stunning artistry.

Ally & Luke | Merricks North, VIC

When a couple defines their personal style as moody, dark, and edgy, foregrounding the soundtrack and guest experience as a priority for their wedding day, the celebration is bound to be epic. Ally and Luke’s was exactly that—classic but dramatic with a chic style edge, all underpinned by a beautiful, effortless sense of fated romance.

From the light-dappled, stunningly personal ceremony on the Jackalope terrace to the dramatic reception space within Doot Doot Doot, Ally and Luke created an ultra-modern celebration with sophisticated darkness, captured with visual artistry by Katie Harmsworth and Bottlebrush Films.

Caitlin & Andrew | Teesdale, VIC

For lockdown lovers Caitlin and Andrew, their dream day was about surrounding themselves with fun and festivities with their family and friends, supported by a truly talented team of ultra-incredible vendors.

And wow, what a vision of sophisticated revelry and modern romance they created.

Caitlin wears two jaw-droppingly impactful gowns; the first by Kyha Studios gives modern fairytale, while her party gown by Liz Martinez at Bluebell Bridal is the embodiment of romantic chic, especially paired with a statement Meggan Morimoto heel. The radiant effervescence between her and Andrew is infectiously uplifting, with every light-filled moment captured with true artistry by Tess Follett and Sea of Love Film.

With Melbourne Entertainment Co. behind the soundtrack, the party heated up as the sun went down, and the newlyweds made their epic mark on the dance floor.

Jacinta & Peter | Melbourne, VIC

Timeless, elegant and simple were the buzzwords at the heart of Jacinta and Peter’s wedding day curation. With, of course, just that touch of grand sophistication imparted in the groom’s three-piece custom suit and Jacinta’s statement overskirt and epic 5m veil.

These two lockdown lovers approached their wedding planning as an aligned team, with both having input into all decisions, from styling to hospitality. The result on the day was that they absolutely glowed with relaxed bliss, while their dream day vision was perfection from start to finish.

Assembling a team of super talented vendors was key, with Cene Studio taking their styling reins, and creating visual magic, from the florals to darling decor details, and elegantly adorned signage and stationery. There to capture every superbly gorgeous element was photographic legend and all around excellent human, Paul Osta Photography.

Steph & Charlie | Sorrento, VIC

Picture this: you’re under the stars on Victoria’s Sorrento beach performing your first dance as family and friends surround you, sparklers in hand, singing along enthusiastically to Harry Style’s Golden.

This moment of wedding day bliss belonged to newlyweds Charlie and Steph, whose vision for a timeless, elegant, coastal chic celebration was beautifully realised. The indoor ceremony at The Continental Hotel looked anything but a weather-proof ‘plan B’ with the masterful White Shutter Photography on hand to capture both the aesthetic and emotion.

The chic sophistication oozing from their nuptials is perhaps best represented by the epic poolside portraits of the wedding party, reminiscent of a Slim Aarons masterpiece.

Tessa & Tom | Melbourne, VIC

For Tessa and Tom, two self-proclaimed adventures who love to fill their lives with upbeat, busy fun, planning their wedding was an extension of this personal ethos and their own signature style. The result was a mid-winter Black Tie soiree encompassing elegant glam and a moody venue, perfectly encapsulating the NYC vibe they set out to create.

Turning to real-life events, activations and venues to find their inspo meant that Tess and Tom’s wedding celebrations feel truly unique and stunningly them. They set out to ensure every touchpoint on the day was timelessly classic and chic, from the drink selection to the soundtrack, martinis, custom matchboxes and a Baby Grand piano featuring heavily.

With a talented team of vendors around them, Tess and Tom’s vision was truly exceeded – and every stunningly sophisticated moment is captured through both film and digital by the epic talent of Rolan John Photo.
