2025 has been a year of stunningly vibrant weddings, and couples who choose to do things their way – with breathtaking results. Carefully considered infusions of signature style and personality have left no two weddings the same, and our group chat is on fire with screenshotted moments that feel genuinely fresh and fun.
We’ve seen nods to tradition and legacy come through in styling choices, both decor and fashion-focused, from embossed veils or suit linings to heirloom jewellery and statement accessories.
Brides are embracing minimalist silhouettes with textured detailing or dynamic cuts, and grooms are loving old-Hollywood-inspired fits.
And across the year, we’ve loved seeing couples think outside the box when it comes to venues, guest numbers, portrait locations and wedding parties – making 2025 the year of stunningly authentic celebration.
We’ve loved rounding up Ivory Tribe’s most popular real wedding features of 2025 – we hope you enjoy them.
A vision of a contemporary garden party, ultra-chic bridal outfits, a stellar team of vendors, and a whole lot of love made Brooke and Riley’s wedding one elegantly emotional soiree.
Against a classic black and white colour palette, their black tie dress code coalesced to perfection, with curated modern elements adding a fresh sensibility and touch of signature sophistication – long-stemmed, simply stunning florals, soft, powder-blue bridesmaid gowns and the lush green backdrop of Butler Lane.
And, of course, every frame by Mandy Wood Studio and Annette & Dani videography is brimming with the stunningly sweet real love between the newlyweds and the excitement and affection of their guests.

Ben and Jemma’s golden wedding planning advice? Romanticise it all.
Pop a bottle of champagne after buying the dress, have a bridal party bonding event to bring your besties together, throw a spray tanning party – make the lead-up as fun and as memorable as the wedding day itself.
The couple found their mindful, joy-focused match in photographer Nikki McCrone, who is the type of vibe-bringing vendor that packs a speaker to play the duo’s favourite songs during photo sessions to bring out their most authentic, at-ease selves.
The soundtrack of the ceremony was just as sentimental. The sublimely talented Paper Hearts performed a unique rendition of Resolution by Matt Corby for the aisle walk, followed by Angus and Julia Stone’s Chateau during the signing of the marriage certificate, which was the same song that played when Ben proposed to Jemma.
With sweeping views of the sea and the city, it was the ideal contemporary canvas upon which to sprinkle their stunning details of calligraphy, candles and vanilla florals.

What if you could simply describe your wedding theme and see the vision realised beyond what you even imagined?
For Mai and Luke, this was what they experienced when planning their wedding with Claire of Black Finn. The couple envisioned a moody, beautiful winter wedding, describing it to Claire as “imagine you’re going through a forest in Europe and you find an abandoned castle that is overgrown, and decide to have a black tie midnight soiree there”. Claire’s response? “Yep, got it”!
The result is a day that exemplifies unique style and epic, stunning detailing without compromising on elegance and grace.
There to capture every artful element is the indomitable Lei Lei Clavey, and for messages Mai and Luke will treasure into the future, Off The Hook audio guestbook.

When Brodie and Belinda recall the feeling of dancing into their reception as newlyweds, surrounded by 120 of their favourite people enthusiastically waving pride progress flags, tears still spring to their eyes. They probably always will.
It was a moment of pure magic, symbolic of the entire celebration – bright, joyful, goosebump-inducing.
A couple who is equal parts sentimental and stylish needs a photographer who can capture the obvious and intangible beauty of a big occasion, and Tess Follett is the master.
Read on to discover how this pair went from the all too common ‘should we have eloped?’ planning doubts to the euphoria of a day that, given the chance, they’d do all over again exactly the same way.

Sam and Mitch’s wedding ethos was anti-formal, laid-back, fun and colourful – and wow, did they deliver.
Kaleidoscopic florals in tones of vivid vermillion, lavender and scarlet by the ultra-talented Love Alfalfa juxtaposed against the natural beauty of the venue to perfection, while Melbourne Entertainment Co created upbeat intensity and fun through their soundscape talents.
Looking every bit the chic, contemporary couple, Sam and Mitch wore Karen Willis Holmes and Instituchu, respectively, both having loved the experience and result with these two legendary fashion houses.
We adore every light-filled, candid frame by Nikki McCrone Photography, and we suspect you will too.

Chloe and Toby can barely remember a life without each other.
They spent their childhood orbiting around each other in the classic country town way and, before they knew it, their forever friendship had caught fire.
When the time came to say ‘I do’, they chose to celebrate their union in the same understated yet deeply meaningful way it had unfolded – just between them. Intimate and overflowing with emotion, the pair exchanged vows at Melbourne’s registry office in the presence of their parents and four closest friends.
Chloe wore an elegant custom D’Italia gown featuring a classic high neckline, long sleeves and button detail down that back that epitomised the simple yet timeless aesthetic of the occasion.
After toasting their new chapter at a cocktail hour for two, they were joined by 28 of their nearest and dearest for a relaxed private dinner.
Even amid the most chic of monochromatic settings, love was the undeniable centrepiece.

A wedding of elevated elegance was guaranteed when Tara and Phil decided on Coombe Yarra Valley as their venue.
The luxe industry leader ticked all their priority planning boxes; stunning scenery, a memorable culinary experience and exemplary service.
Tara found the task of dress shopping her least favourite on the to-do list until she encountered the brilliant team at d’Italia, who took one look at her collection of inspiration photos and instantly identified the commonalities.
What resulted was the design of a classic gown featuring a strapless bodice and full-bodied skirt, perfectly tailored to Tara.
When it was time for the reception, the couple made up-tempo music selections to set the tone for a care-free celebration and the entertainment experts at Hey Jack read the energy of the crowd to keep the dancefloor full all night long.

Carla and Terry’s celebration was the perfect blend of inner-city sophistication and all-out fun – a day where elegance met effortless joy, set against the vibrant backdrop of Hyde Melbourne Place – the adaptable, modern, inner-city space of their dreams.
While their vision wasn’t about following a trend or executing a grand, over-styled concept, they chose to simply focus on what felt right: bold bursts of colour, modern touches, and an atmosphere that encouraged laughter, connection, and a full dance floor.
For Carla and Terry, that was the whole point – a wedding that felt as good as it looked, and it was captured just as perfectly by the talented Chloe May.

Super sweet but not too serious was the aim of the wedding planning game for long-time lovers Emma and Jordan. Their top priority was selecting a setting with personality and charm and curating a list of experienced but down-to-earth vendors who could bring their high-vibe vision to life.
And who better to lead the pack for that brilliant brief than lens-wielding creative genius, and all-round legend, Jackson Grant?
Style kings Instichu had the gents in the bridal party looking dapper all day long, including for Emma’s grand entrance to a cover of Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac, recorded by a close friend, which delivered the most tear-jerking moment of the day.
The rest of the celebration’s moving musical moments were courtesy of supremely talented DJ Josh from Married to the Groove who even let the newlyweds behind the decks to officially open the dancefloor at the reception in place of a traditional bridal boogie.
The after-party entertainment was endless with guests lapping up the fun of leaving voice notes for the new Mr and Mrs via an Off The Hook audio guestbook.

Kimberley and Nicholas’ chic modern wedding has certainly set our hearts alight, and to think it all began with one flame emoji. Theirs was a day grounded in being true to themselves, their vision and ensuring they were surrounded by those whom also aligned with not just the visual aesthetic (which is undeniably Vogue-worthy) but the feeling overall; one of sentiment and warmth.
Megan Thompson as their celebrant wove their story so thoughtfully to capture the essence of their love, Jess from Fern and Stone with her snapping prowess caught every raw and intimate emotion of the day, d’Italia created a classic silhouette for Kim with sheer ties that fell delicately past her shoulders, all tying in perfectly with the dreamy drapery, dappled light and floating calla lilies that framed their ceremony.
For the two of them, although creating a day and a look that reflected them took countless hours of pinning, scrolling and deep diving within the wedding algorithm, they never wanted to lose sight of what it was all about – the act of marrying their best friend, being a true partner, celebrating with those they love most and dancing the evening away with Married to the Groove.

Molly and Rhys’ sun-soaked celebration on the banks of Lake Mulwala was stylish, relaxed and deeply sentimental.
Their vision for the after-party was to channel a balmy summer night in Italy. From woodfire pizzas and local gelato to vibrant florals, a jazz hour and limoncello shots, the details were refined, but the atmosphere was relaxed.
Across the formalities, Molly wore not one but two stunning gowns by renowned designer Kyha, the first of which she customised with a sleeve detail and extra buttons down the back.
Tales of this duo’s wedding planning experience are sprinkled with plenty of practical tips and hits, such as practising the champagne spray before you’re in front of a camera wearing your best outfits (turns out, it’s much harder than it looks!).
Delight in the contemporary aesthetic and raw emotion, as captured by photographer Jessica Sim.

From designing their own fits and including their golden retriever Honey in the key moments of the day to walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, Tilly and Jordan forgo tradition to make their day truly their own.
The result is a vivid kaleidoscope of sweet emotion and visual vibrancy.
Colourways of vanilla and greens accented with peach, yellow and lilac harmonised against the greenery and natural textures of Panama Dining Room, while bridesmaids in apple green dresses became an unintended nod to the green of the tram they caught to get to the venue!
For a couple that live much of their life in the inner-north, their venue choice and photo locations paid homage to the streetscapes that encompass home.
Fun, bright, and not overly fancy was the vision, and Tilly and Jordan epitomised this, evident in every dynamically uplifting frame by Motta Weddings.

Embracing an array of excellent local talent, Demi and Renn’s swiftly planned and perfectly executed Provenance Wines celebration was brought to life with all the heart you would expect of a couple so effortlessly in love.
With rich, romantic and moody florals, the inclusion of their favourite people nestled right beside them, and a setting so epically Hollywood film-worthy in all the best ways, they marked the next chapter in their partnership with authenticity and flair.
Captured flawlessly by Monika Berry, it’s not hard to see that through beaming smiles and teary eyes, for Demi and Renn, family was at the heart of the matter and an elegant, all-in party to celebrate, the beautiful cherry on top.

A torrential downpour was not going to impact the “lovefest” vibe of Alanah and Davey’s epic celebration.
For a couple who met and built their relationship in Brunswick, Melbourne, honouring their local community, their favourite people, and the things they love was key to creating their dream day.
Somewhere cool and rustic, with a great lineup of drops naturally led them to their local, Noisy Ritual, and locking in their vendors early allowed them to establish a stellar team whose style and ethos aligned.
And with such a grounded, clear vision, it was inevitable that the celebration would come together beautifully, with the inclement weather adding that quintessential Melbourne touch.
Photography legend Hailey of Love Bomb Photos went above and beyond to capture a visual narrative that stuns in every frame.
