RUN WILD IN EUROPE – A STYLED SHOOT

2020: the year the world was put on hold. Flights ceased, events postponed and couples dreaming of a destination wedding faced uncertainty.

Adelaide stylist, Memory Lane, and sculptured florists, Stem Haus, took this as an opportunity to reignite the spark for the many couples planning by creating the ‘Run Wild in Europe’ styled shoot. Inspiration came from the team’s passion for travel, romance, exquisite regional wine and food, coupled with a desire to emulate a dreamy destination landscape nestled amongst the vineyards at Vigna Bottin in Willunga, South Australia.

The styling brief was wild romantic with no shortage of details to have you convinced you were wining and dining on a patio on the hillsides of Tuscany. From handmade silk ribbons paired with dehydrated fruit bundles, to the deckled edging of the stationery suite; the palette consisted of soft earthy hues and every styled element from the bride’s dressing area to the stone shards across the tablespace was aesthetically complimentary.

With a wildly unstructured climbing cascade of fresh cappuccino roses, amidst dried statement florals and sheer chiffon draping; the perfect ambience for the love story was created.

Encapsulating the vibrant European-style celebrations and set with authentic rustic food from Pomodora kitchen, paired with heritage wines from the Bottin’s Estate – after a day of eating, drinking and dancing it was only fitting the couple farewelled with an ‘Arrivederci’ as they headed off into the sunset on a 1961 Vespa.
