The natural elegance of Woolbrook Homestead was a fitting backdrop to a pared back yet deeply romantic styled shoot born from the creative minds of two fellow photographers.
Long-time friends and soulful shooters with distinctly different styles, Shannan Griffiths and Kelsey Renae, dreamed up the idea of curating a single styled shoot they could each capture through their own lens.
They wanted to explore how their perspectives – Kelsey’s natural, editorial approach and Shannan’s cinematic, film-kissed style – could merge to create something that felt like quiet luxury: elevated yet intimate, refined yet deeply heartfelt.
With the help of a trusted and talented team they set out to tell a story that embodied the beauty of a wedding day that is personal, timeless and never overdone.
And while the day itself delivered more than 40ml of rain (and plenty of frantic flower-moving, table-shifting sprints between downpours), it also gifted them moments of magic – golden bursts of light, soft misty air and the kind of creative chaos that brings a vision to life.
Scroll on to delight in the endless inspiration of this creative collaboration, told through digital frames and a touch of 35mm film, with real-life couple, Marnie and Jack, at the centre.
