Barunah Plains is a photographer’s dream, you could wander the property for hours following the setting sun, this is a destination wedding venue that you simply can’t go past. Plus, with a late 2am curfew, your celebration can truly continue into the night.

The Barunah team encourage couples to explore different catering options and find someone that suits their style and taste, and can recommend stellar caterers if required. From luxe sit-down dinners to a bright and beautiful festival atmosphere bustling with food trucks, the options to create your ideal day are endless.
Accommodation.
There is accommodation onsite for 76 people, with the option to bring in glamping to sleep everyone on site for the weekend – turning Barunah Plains into your own village for the celebration.
The Homestead
10 bedrooms sleeping 22 people, featuring formal dining room, formal sitting room, billiards room, swimming pool, tennis court, and 4 bathrooms. The space is fantastic for you to get ready for your wedding or relax the days following.
The Jackaroo Quarters
6 hotel-style queen rooms sleeping 12 guests, all with their own ensuites.
The Shearers Quarters
16 bedrooms, sleeping 42 guests. With a large commercial kitchen, dining room, and large living space, it’s the perfect spot for a recovery the next day.
Glamping
If you’re looking for more accommodation options, you can bring in Glamping and sleep everyone on site for the weekend – turning Barunah Plains into your own celebratory village for the weekend.
Alternatively, this venue is located just 30 minutes from Geelong and 10 minutes from Inverleigh so it’s easy to run buses to accommodation options in Geelong and along the coast.
