Hannah Briggs knows the Mornington Peninsula the way only locals do, from which beaches catch the best late-afternoon light to the vineyards with the best views, and where to take a couple for ten minutes of golden hour between ceremony and reception without losing time. Based in Rosebud and photographing weddings since 2020, she’s built her portfolio across the Peninsula and its surrounds: Merricks Store, The Baths Sorrento, Polperro Winery, Pier 10, Dromana Estate, Portsea Hotel, Point Leo; the list reads like a local’s guide to the region’s best venues.
Her approach is candid, warm and fun. Hannah started in family photography before moving into weddings, and that background shows in how quickly she builds rapport with couples and the extended group around them. She’s the photographer whose cheeks hurt from smiling by the end of the night, who tears up during the speeches, and whose couples describe the experience as spending the day with a friend. Every gallery is delivered in a mix of colour and black and white, with 50 to 100 edited images per hour of coverage.
Wedding packages start from $3,975 with three collections available, and elopements and intimate celebrations from $1,875. Hannah travels across Melbourne and regional Victoria, with a travel fee for weddings more than an hour from the Peninsula. She includes a pre-wedding consultation and a wedding day survival kit with every booking.
Hannah also photographs families, maternity, newborns and couples sessions from her natural-light studio in Rosebud and at outdoor Peninsula locations. Many of her wedding couples come back for exactly that, which is how she ends up documenting the same love story across years and milestones.
“We honestly could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. Hannah was just incredible.
From the moment she arrived, her energy was everything — calm, warm, fun, and exactly what you need on a day that can feel a little overwhelming. She made us (and our whole bridal party) feel so relaxed and completely ourselves. Nothing felt forced or awkward, just natural and joyful.
The photos are absolutely stunning — truly beyond what we imagined. She captured every little in-between moment, the big emotions, the tiny details, the chaos, the love… everything. Looking through them feels like reliving the whole day.
And the fact she even jumped on the dance floor with me just sums her up perfectly. She wasn’t just our photographer, she felt like part of the day.
We are so, so grateful. If you’re looking for someone who will keep you calm, make it fun, and deliver the most beautiful photos — Hannah is your person.”
