Amelia and Ryan met through mutual friends, fell madly in love, and discovered a shared obsession with epic vocal harmonies and love songs. Paper Hearts grew out of that, and these days the married Melbourne duo run a highly curated collective of acoustic musicians and DJs in Melbourne, Sydney and beyond, with more than 480 five-star Google reviews behind them.

Book a solo artist or acoustic duo, add a DJ to light up the dance floor, and have the whole day covered from guest arrival through to the final song. Many of their artists both play live and DJ, and there’s a dedicated DJ team too. Live roaming sax over the dancefloor, MC services and extended DJ sets are all available as extras, and the team are genuinely lovely communicators throughout the planning.
Pricing is refreshingly transparent. Their “short & sweet” ceremony and cocktail hour package starts from $1,500+GST solo or $2,000+GST as a duo, a reception DJ from $1,750+GST, and the full “all the feels” package covering guest arrival right through to the last song from $3,350+GST (solo plus DJ) or $3,850+GST (duo plus DJ). Prices vary by artist, and timings flex to suit your run sheet.
And for an extra sweetener to streamline your planning without losing any quality: Ryan is also a registered marriage celebrant, so you can bundle celebrant, DJ and MC into a single booking, or add the acoustic duo on top, and have one vendor covering three or four roles across your day.
