Some venues NEED styling. The Epicurean Red Hill is definitely not one of them, with original red brick walls, exposed timber beams, a glass-atrium ceiling, and open fireplaces, the vibe exists before you’ve added a single flower. It’s an iconic, heritage property est. 1921 in the heart of Red Hill that photographs well and feels even better in person.
Home of The Epicurean Group, the venue hosts food focused celebrations from 20 to 220+ guests, with the Ever After Effect – a team of planners, caterers and creatives managing the details from your first conversation through to the day itself, the Mornington Peninsula’s most complete wedding experience.
With an indoor ceremony option, The Barrel Room guests will then move through to The Shed — the main reception space, industrial-chic with those brick walls, timber beams, and fireplaces that come into their own in the cooler months.
For outdoor ceremonies, the Merricks Trail is offered at the rear of the venue, or their partner properties such as the Red Hill Lavender Farm or Ashcombe Gardens both about eight minutes from the venue.
Food is what The Epicurean Group is known for. The approach is Italian-inspired, with generous share platters built around fresh, seasonal, regional produce, modern Australian with Mediterranean influences. It’s the kind of dining that has guests reaching across the table and talking to each other, which is exactly the point. Food and beverage packages start from $205 per person.
There’s no on-site accommodation, but Red Hill and the wider Mornington Peninsula have plenty of options across styles and budgets, and Epicurean partners with some of the best boutique accommodation in the region.
