Understated, timeless elegance – a styled shoot

We love a styled shoot filled to the brim with beauty and talent, which is exactly what took place when a team of talented wedding vendors banded together to create this sensational styled shoot.

When the concept was put together, it was all about creating a simple, yet stylish and elegant feel that would pair well with the warmth of the Yarra Valley at wedding venue Vue on Halcyon.

The expansive arch shaped roof provided the initial inspiration for many elements of the shoot including the tablescape design and stationery. From the billowing draped chiffon weaved through floral stands that complemented the opulent black velvet tablecloth and almond and linen toned stationery, along with signage, invitations, tableware, and frosted vellum wraps with black wax seals that cradled macaron boxes – every darling detail in this shoot was designed to show off the stunning space.

Adding femininity to the deep opulence of the dominant black tones, an array of toffee and quicksand roses and luscious phalaenopsis orchids indulged an elegant and timeless style. Almond and linen card finished with luxe touches of gold leaf and foil provided the perfect colour palette for the venue.

Naturally we were drawn to the incredible outfits created by Silvana Tedesco, and the suave suits by Ivory Tribe favourites YSG Tailors, their looks really brought this shoot to life.
