It’s goes without doubt that we love seeing what regional Victoria are up to when it comes to weddings and we simply couldn’t resist their latest offering.
Fresh and contemporary, we are thrilled to introduce Love + Light Wedding Festival. Taking place on February 17-18, 2018 and showcasing North East Victoria’s best venues and most creative wedding suppliers, making the choice to marry in Rutherglen irresistible.
If you haven’t heard of Rutherglen, you are missing out. Rutherglen is a premier Australian wine and food region and is at the heart of an innovative new wedding showcase, featuring an interactive destination trail that’s set to come to life.
Love + Light Wedding Festival offers the ideal opportunity for couples to see their best day as it unfolds, months ahead of schedule with all participating venues set up as ‘wedding ready’.
This event will showcase Rutherglen’s best venues and most creative wedding suppliers including Mt Ophir, John Gehrig Wines, Tuileries, Ripe at Buller, Lake Moodemere Estate, Olive Hills, Pickled Sisters, Peppermint Studios, Jillian Franklin Designs, Bourke Hire, D&D Letterpress, TipiKata tipis, Dough Re Mi, Blissful Love, Little Red Robyn and more.
Love + Light brings together the vision of event director Georgie James, who set out to create a contemporary wedding fair that will spark the imagination of all involved.
Georgie’s hope is that brides and grooms will walk away feeling inspired and engaged, knowing exactly where to hold their special ceremony and how it’s going to play out. She assures us Love + Light will be a tantalising treat that’s fun, engaging, light and exciting.
Love + Light will launch with a runway special on the Saturday evening, followed by Sunday’s exclusive admission to stunning wedding venues including castles, wineries and gardens. The event will provide an ideal opportunity for couples seeking a destination wedding in a region renowned for its world class food and wine. It will put North East Victoria on the map for couples from Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and beyond, who are seeking a celebration with all the pizazz, flair and atmosphere that makes for a day to remember.
Early bird tickets are available until 30 November starting from $15, with goodie bags available for the first 200 ticket holders.

Where: Various locations, Rutherglen, North East Victoria: a three hour drive from Melbourne and four hours from Canberra. Albury Airport has flights from Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane.
Cost: $15 prior to November 30, 2017. From 1 November onwards, $25. Group ticketing options available.
