Walk through the front door at Quat Quatta and the scale hits you before anything else does. Soaring ceilings, parquetry floors, a dining room that feels both grand and warm — this is a fully restored Victorian-era mansion that has been hosting celebrations in Ripponlea for over 130 years, and every surface shows it. Not in a tired way. In a way that says the bones are right and always have been.

Ceremony and reception spaces at Quat Quatta
The courtyard garden is set up for ceremonies and pre-reception drinks; festoon-lit, intimate, with a bronze fountain and pop-up bar options. It’s an outdoor space that genuinely works in cooler months, not just in summer. Inside, the dining room is dramatic in scale but neutral enough to style in any direction: long tables and candles, white linen and candelabra, or anything in between. The parquetry dance floor sits beneath those soaring ceilings, so the transition from dining to dancing happens in the same room without a mood shift.
A bridal suite gives you space to prep on-site, and the bar lounge doubles as either a photography backdrop or a second social space later in the evening.
Capacity is 50 to 160 seated or 200 cocktail.

Wedding styles that suit this venue
Quat Quatta suits couples who want a venue with genuine architectural presence close to the city; heritage grandeur without the country drive. The space reads as formal or relaxed depending on how you dress it, which is part of why it’s worked for 130 years.
“Our wedding at Quat Quatta was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless. The venue itself is stunning, elegant, and full of character — it created the most magical atmosphere for our special day.
The food and drinks were immaculate. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and the drinks flowed effortlessly throughout the night. So many of our guests commented on the quality of both the food and beverage service — everything was executed to perfection.
The service was seamless and professional, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy every moment. A huge thank you to Alastair, Daniella, and the entire team — you were truly amazing. Your warmth, organisation, and attention to detail made our day stress-free and unforgettable.
We will forever have the most beautiful memories at Quat Quatta and cannot recommend this venue highly enough.”
