At Provenance Wines in Fyansford, that feeling of weight and age and quiet grandeur runs through every room, from the Oregon timber cathedral ceiling of the Barrel Room to the river light that fills the intimate River Room.
Your guests drink wines made by the venue— Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Nebbiolo — alongside food from a culinary team with a reputation that extends well beyond the wedding circuit.
What spaces does Provenance Wines offer for weddings?
Three distinct spaces sit within the restored Paper Mill estate. The Barrel Room is the main event space, offering cathedral ceilings, whitewashed bluestone, wine barrels lining the walls, polished concrete underfoot.
The River Room is smaller and filled with natural light overlooking the Barwon River, used for micro-weddings of up to 30 guests or as a pre-reception drinks space.
The Cellar Door (Buckley Hall) offers a third option with its own character.
Ceremonies can be held in the landscaped garden or indoors in Buckley Hall, with a wet-weather backup plan in place. The broader Paper Mill estate; heritage buildings, gardens, river views, gives you portrait locations within steps of the venue.

The in-house kitchen works across cocktail, alternate drop and share-style menus using locally sourced, seasonal produce, with all dietary requirements catered for. For larger weddings, enquire directly for tailored pricing.
Micro-weddings for up to 30 guests start from $58 per person for a two-course shared menu, rising to $75 per person for a three-course plated option, with ceremony and River Room hire included.
Beverage options include Provenance’s own wines across a three-hour package, a bar tab, or a cash bar.
