Set on the banks of the Goulburn River, Mitchelton is a winery estate with luxury accommodation, a day spa, pool, contemporary Australian art gallery, and Provedore Cafe. Your guests have somewhere to be the morning of, the morning after, and every hour in between.
Ceremony and reception spaces at Mitchelton
Two ceremony options give you coverage rain or shine; the River Deck for an outdoor setting on the water, or the Underground Cellar for something more intimate and atmospheric. Post-ceremony drinks spill onto the lawns before the reception moves indoors.
The Montage Room, designed by Hecker Guthrie, is the main reception space for up to 180 seated or 300 standing. For smaller celebrations, the Ashton Tower and the Underground Cellar each hold up to 50 seated or 100 standing guests.
Wedding catering and wine at Mitchelton
Executive Chef Luis Benivades builds menus around local, sustainable, and ethically farmed produce, with options for feasting, alternating, or cocktail-style dining. You’re on a working winery, so the wine list isn’t an afterthought, but part of the reason to be here.
